Support the CCrish Lab team in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Akron Ohio on Sept 15, 2018!

The CCrish Laboratory of Research in Presymptomatic Neurodegenerative Disease at the Northeast Ohio Medical University is leading the way to Alzheimer’s first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. Currently, 5.7 million Americans have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to reach 16 million by 2050. There are still no treatments available that change the course of this devastating disease.

We are working hard in our research lab to understand the mechanisms of Alzheimer’s, identify new treatments, and educate the future healthcare professionals of Northeast Ohio on dementia. But we need your help–together we can end Alzheimer’s disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association, or join our team on this walk! 

The walk will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018  at Canal Park Stadium, located at 300 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44308.

Registration begins at 8:30am, followed by ceremony at 10am and walk to begin at 10:15am. Ballpark refreshments are to be enjoyed after the walk.
